How to Play Yahtzee

To play Yahtzee, you can buy a package or build your own by obtaining five dice and a cup of mixture and roll. You can also download Yahtzee score cards free or create your own.

Yahtzee Scorecards consist of two sections, the upper part and lower part. The upper part consists of "Aces," "twos," "Threes," "Fours," "Fives" and "Sixes" with a column to keep score. At the bottom of the upper section, there is a space for the total score and an opportunity to score a bonus 35 points if you score is above 63 or more. Then there is a space for a grand total score of the upper section.

A house is of a type with a set of two which comprises of a tiny straight line and is usually four times larger, while the right is large five times in a row.

• C. Full House

• D. Chance.

• E. Small Straight

• F. 4 of a Kind

• G. 3 of a kind

Play begins by rolling all five dices by any one player. You can choose to keep all the dice and score right away, take some of the dice or roll of all dice. You can take a total of three rolls before you partition and then pass the dice to the next player. You can score in a specific category once during a match.

During the scoring in the top section, you add the total number of faces of your choice. For example, if you go after "two" and you rolled a 2, 2, 1, 3, 5, your score would be four, two plus two. In the lower section, three of a kind and four of a kind would be a total of all five dice that you rolled. In this case, if you go for "Four of a Kind" and you rolled 3, 3, 2, 3, 3, and the total would be 14, a sum of all of the face value of the dice. When you have a small straight, you score 30 points, while a long straight, you get 40 points. A house is worth 25 points and the first Yahtzee is 50 points. Chance is a full roller.

You must score in all categories, even if you fill a class with a "0".

In order to qualify for additional Yahtzee, you must first score a Yahtzee. In other words, if you marked "0" in the category and roll a Yahtzee Yahtzee, you will not be able to get bonus points Yahtzee.

In addition, you score your Yahtzee bonus in an open category. You must use the additional Yahtzee in all open top sections that are open at the beginning. If you've used all of the top, you can mark your additional Yahtzee in the lower section.
