1. Step 1

All the players should sit around a small round table so that there is no problem to reach to the centre of the table without stretching themselves. This is because they can sit in a relaxed manner.

1. Step 2

The number of spoons required is one less than the number of players. Now set all the spoons in the centre of the table. The handles of the spoons should be towards the players and they must follow a star shaped pattern.

1. Step 3

Now you can select anyone of the player to begin the game with dealing the cards. The player after dealing the cards should give 4 cards with 4 at a time to all of the players. The remaining cards should be kept on the deck.

1. Step 4

This spoon game rotates from left to right. The dealer should now drag a card from the deck. Now he should look at the card and must keep it if he wants to, otherwise must pass the card to the player sitting on his right hand side. He also discards a card from his own hand keeping the drag card into the hand.

1. Step 5

Now it's the turn for the player sitting at the left hand side of the dealer. He must pass his cards to the discard pile.

1. Step 6

The main objective of the spoon game is to get four same kinds of cards. But do not proclaim it right away.

Continue passing the cards, though you have four similar cards until all the other players is unfocused. Then suddenly take a spoon from the table.

1. Step 8

When the other player see that you have take one spoon then all the other will also take a spoon.

But we have told earlier that one spoon is less than the number of players. So the player with no spoon must drink.
